I provided a broad range of trusted advice through my involvement in larger projects such as corporate restructures, mergers & acquisitions due diligence engagements, R&D submissions, and assisting with the financial statements preparation for listed and Significant Global Entities ($1billion+ turnover). I took on the role as internal lecturer and mentor for students of the accounting firm completing the Chartered Accountancy course, writing internal practice examination material for the Capstone subject, and running tutoring workshops for the firm's cohort. 

Recognised as a Tech Innovator Finalist at the Accountants Daily 30 Under 30 Awards, I have a keen interest in business improvement, regularly being an organisation leader in technology innovation and procedural change management. I entered the corporate world in 2021, quickly being promoted to Group Financial Controller responsible for a multi-million dollar group of global entities. This role included project accounting and board advice writing with interpretation and application of AASB, GAAP, and IFRS accounting standards. In this role, I was awarded as a finalist Corporate Accountant of the Year at the Accountants Daily Accounting Awards. This finalist listing was recognised for delivering on key financial priorities within the global group, implementing improved and streamlined financial processes, and completely re-energising the finance team’s effectiveness and motivation to be a partner to the broader business. 

As a Finance Director, I managed a team of accountants preparing the financial statements for Australia's primary revenue collection agency. I was responsible for the overall quality and delivery of those statements to the auditors, and researched and implemented accounting position papers on technical topics such revenue estimates and debt provisions.

Across every role I've had a common goal of taking technical complexity and turning it into advice people can actually understand and rely on.
